Positioned at the heart of Saadiyat Island, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat marks the final launch within Saadiyat Grove
Aldar has announced the launch of Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, introducing what it describes as a legacy landmark that establishes a new global benchmark for ultra-prime living in the UAE capital.
Located within the prestigious Saadiyat Cultural District, the development brings together the 262-year crystal heritage of the legendary Baccarat with the cultural depth of Saadiyat Island, creating a globally recognised address at the heart of one of the world’s most ambitious cultural destinations.
Comprising just 77 residences, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat offers a limited collection of two- and three-bedroom apartments, expansive four-bedroom sky villas and two signature penthouses. Each home is shaped by light, craftsmanship and immersive design storytelling, translating the Maison’s philosophy of art de vivre into a refined and timeless living experience. The enduring presence of Baccarat crystal is subtly woven into the development’s central living spaces, enriching the character of the scheme.
The residences enjoy uninterrupted views of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Arabian Sea, positioning them at the intersection of culture, coastline and contemporary luxury.
Marking the final launch within the Saadiyat Grove district, the project offers what Aldar calls a rare opportunity to own a home in one of the world’s most desirable emerging destinations. Residents will be moments from pristine beaches and the championship course at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, as well as leading educational institutions including Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, New York University Abu Dhabi and Berklee Abu Dhabi. The soon-to-open Saadiyat Grove is set to introduce 60,000 square metres of luxury retail and dining within walking distance.
Architecturally, the scheme marks the first UAE residential project by Sou Fujimoto Architects, the internationally acclaimed practice founded by Sou Fujimoto. Drawing inspiration from the natural ebb and flow of Saadiyat Island’s shoreline, the design features undulating curves forming two distinct buildings that mirror the landscape and create a fluid transition between architecture and horizon.
Commenting on the new development, Jonathan Emery, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Development, said: “Abu Dhabi’s place as a leading global destination for luxury lifestyle continues to advance at pace. Baccarat Residences Saadiyat represents the pinnacle of luxury living within Saadiyat Cultural District, bringing together world-class architecture, global brand heritage and an unrivalled cultural setting. The residences offer discerning buyers not just a home, but a place in one of the most incredible destinations to be developed anywhere in the world.”
“Baccarat is a brand we treat with immense care,” said Barry Sternlicht, Founder of Baccarat Hotels & Residences and Chairman of Starwood Hotels. “We choose locations very selectively, and Saadiyat Island stands out as a place where the level of ambition, cultural investment, and long-term vision align on a global scale. This project reflects our belief that the most meaningful luxury is created with intention in settings that can support it.”
“Baccarat Residences are designed for those who seek more than a home — they are designed for a life immersed in culture, beauty, and luxury,” said Raul Leal, CEO of Starwood Hotels. “This location in Saadiyat represents the epitome of refined luxury, where heritage, art, and contemporary living intersect. It is a natural setting for Baccarat Residences, allowing us to translate centuries-old craftsmanship and legacy into an enduring residential expression that feels both timeless and deeply connected to its surroundings.”
Residents will have access to an extensive suite of amenities, including a private spa and wellness centre with a state-of-the-art fitness suite, treatment rooms, relaxation lounge and rain room. An outdoor infinity pool with private cabanas will be set within landscaped gardens, offering a secluded retreat.
A 24-hour concierge and valet service will cater to residents’ needs, from bespoke private dining to private aviation arrangements. Owners will also receive priority access to Baccarat brand events, private shopping experiences and bespoke interiors guidance, enabling each home to reflect individual taste while honouring the brand’s heritage.
Interiors have been conceived by StudioPCH, a Los Angeles-based design studio known for its refined approach to luxury. Inspired by neoclassical aesthetics, the concept balances symmetry, texture and grandeur with contemporary functionality. Buyers will be able to choose between light and dark finishes, with bespoke customisation available across a limited collection of residences.
Surrounded by beaches, cultural landmarks and a comprehensive lifestyle offering, Saadiyat Cultural District presents a rare ecosystem. Within this setting, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat is positioned to offer a life defined by craftsmanship, heritage and uncompromising luxury.
