As a self-professed Aman junkie, having visited many of Aman’s 34 properties worldwide, from Phuket to Turks & Caicos, the brand is consistently getting better with age. One of the most stunning properties in their portfolio is the dramatic Amanoi positioned along the Vietnam coast, offering up clifftop restaurants, a waterfront Aman Spa and a private beach.
With a noticeable upswing in guests desiring more extended stays, Aman just released five new Residences and four new Villas for extended family vacations. The Residences vary from one to four bedrooms, all with dramatic private hilltop perches overlooking the beautiful Vinh Hy Bay. From 4,520-9,579 sf, they include master and twin bedrooms connected by large central Pavilions with an outdoor pool. It has become a popular layout at many of the Aman Resorts I have visited, enabling several couples to stay together while ensuring privacy.
My favorite Residence is the stunning Two Bedroom Ocean Pool Residence, which offers a private seawater pool. The One Bedroom Ocean pool Residence also has a private dining deck directly on the bay’s edge.
Residences at Amanoi are all positioned as standalone private buildings with large infinity swimming pools and a personal butler. Many of the residences I have stayed in at Aman properties offer the utmost privacy for high-ranking guests and those seeking the ultimate luxury accommodations.
Residence guests also receive airport transfers, a private chef, daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and complimentary wellness classes and watersports. Add on your own private buggy, and you can easily visit the adjacent resort.
Aman also launched four new villas ranging from one to two bedrooms starting at 2,04o sf. All villas have their own private pools and offer an indoor-outdoor lifestyle with floor-to-ceiling windows, separate living areas, and extensive outdoor decks. If you stay in one of the villas, you receive daily breakfast and afternoon tea with direct access to the resort’s facilities and the beach.
Amanoi is located within Nui Chua National Park and Unesco Biosphere Reserve and provides many options in accommodations, from Wellness Pool Villas to Mountain Pool Villas overlooking the wildlife-filled national park. My favorite spot at any Aman Resort is the famed spa, and it doesn’t disappoint here with two lake-view hydrotherapy suites, including heated stone treatment tables, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, plunge pools, and terraces. And no visit is complete without adding on one of their resident wellness expert experiences and treatments, which is constantly evolving.
