Business News Wales Announced as Official Media Partner for 10th Anniversary Wales Week London

Business News Wales has been confirmed as the official media partner for the landmark 10th anniversary of Wales Week London.

Marking a decade since the initiative first launched in 2017, Wales Week London has grown into the largest annual programme of events celebrating and promoting Wales outside of the country itself. This year’s milestone programme will once again bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, creatives and investors across a packed schedule of events held around St David’s Day.

As official media partner, Business News Wales will deliver dedicated daily coverage throughout the fortnight, capturing the key conversations, insights and commercial opportunities emerging from the programme.

The partnership will see Business News Wales provide in-depth reporting, exclusive interviews, sector analysis and on-the-ground insight, ensuring the impact of Wales Week London extends far beyond the capital and into boardrooms, businesses and communities across Wales.

Mark Powney, Managing Director of Business News Wales, said:

Wales Week London has become one of the most important platforms for showcasing the strength, ambition and global outlook of Welsh business. As it celebrates its 10th anniversary, we are proud to take on the role of official media partner.

“Our coverage will go beyond event reporting. We will provide a strategic business lens on the week, highlighting the deals, partnerships, sector strengths and leadership voices shaping Wales’ economic narrative on a global stage.

“It’s also important that the business community across Wales actively gets behind Wales Week London. This programme is far more than a celebration — it is a vehicle to promote modern Wales to investors, partners and policymakers at the highest levels. It provides a rare and powerful moment each year when Wales has a concentrated voice in London and internationally.

“When Welsh businesses engage, participate and support the programme, it strengthens the message that Wales is confident, collaborative and open for business. The more unified and visible we are, the greater the long-term economic benefit.”

Over the past decade, Wales Week London has hosted hundreds of events spanning business, technology, inward investment, green economy, financial services, life sciences, creative industries and international relations, alongside cultural and community programming.

Through its dedicated daily Wales Week London updates, Business News Wales will spotlight the individuals and organisations driving innovation, investment and collaboration, while tracking the tangible outcomes and emerging opportunities created during the programme.

Dan Langford, Co-Founder and Chair of Wales Week London, said:

“Reaching our 10th anniversary is a major milestone, and we’re delighted to be working with Business News Wales as our official media partner this year.

“Their ability to connect with the Welsh business community and provide thoughtful, strategic coverage will help amplify the impact of Wales Week London and ensure that the conversations and relationships formed here continue to generate value long after the events conclude.”

Wales Week London forms part of the wider Wales Week Worldwide initiative, which now spans more than 20 international locations.
The 10th anniversary programme runs until 7th March, with full coverage available daily via Business News Wales.
